About Us
Emmanuel Bible Church seeks to be a Biblically faithful fellowship that Exalts God as it encourages believers and evangelizes the world. Our History dates back to 1974 when a small group of people began meeting in the home of Victor and Bonnie Ralon. The church later met in a local elementary school and was pastored by Wade Wadsworth until a chapel was built just north of Thayne in 1993 and EBC had a home.
Tim Moyer accepted position of Senior Pastor and the church quickly outgrew that building and new additions until in 2002 after a new location was acquired and building completed, we moved into our present location. We are extremely grateful to God for all he has done and to those faithful saints who went before us and laid the foundation for what we enjoy today.
We are a nondenominational, evangelical Christian church. That means that we are governed by our own elders, not an outside organization. About 200 people worship at EBC each Sunday.
Our vision is to provide a Christ centered, caring environment where people can grow in their relationship with God. We seek to provide specific opportunities for every member of the body of Christ to be involved in ministry. One of our mottos is: "every member a minister".
We are a family oriented church that seeks to be fresh and innovative while maintaining the integrity of Biblical positions, ministering to the needs of each family member.
