Frequetly AskedQuestions

Why am I getting double audio? There could be several reasons why this is occuring.  Your browser may have autoplay video enabled so when you open the homepage the sermon starts playing.  When you click on the red button it opens a popup window which begins playing the live video.  Now you have two videos playing at the same time.  You can either disable autoplay in your browser or return to the homepage and pause the video playing last weeks sermon or simply close that window.  The other reason may be that you have pressed the play button on the homescreen then pressed the red button and both videos will be playing.  Again return to the home screen and press pause or find the pop up screen which is sometimes "hidden" and press pause or close that tab.

Why is nothing happening when I press the red button? Your browser pop up blocker may be on.  This will not allow new windows or tabs to open.  Go into your browser settings and see if  the pop ups are blocked.

It is 10:30 and the livestream has not started.  What is happening?  Please be a little patient!  The service probably started at 10:30 but the signal needs to go through the camera, into the computer, through the router, passed through Silverstar's server, into Sermon Audio's server, down to your server, into your router, and finally arriving at your computer. It may take a minute or two to get through all that.  I wish that I could travel that far that quickly.

The audio is not clear or glitching.  What is happening?  There could be several reasons.  The wireless mics in the church may be having issues.  The sound board may be having issues.  There could be issues with the downstream servers after it leaves the church computer.  We can only control the issues that arise within the church such as the mics or board and unfortunately those may not be fixed during service.  We are in the process of updating our sound board and mics to that will hopefully address many of the intermittent issues.

I want my online experience to be as if I was sitting in the pew.  Why isn't it like this?  In order to accomplish this it would require many thousands of dollars and a full time staff to run the equipment and even then it would not be the same as sitting in the sanctuary.  We do not think that this is a wise use of  the money that God has given us.  Our volunteers do an outstanding job of bringing the service to our online users every Sunday utilizing the resources that are available to them.  We know that you cannot join us in person for a variety of reasons so we hope that this will suffice until we see you again in the sanctuary.
